Azalea Sands is truly a gem. Been a regular for a couple of years now. The 8th hole’s a real challenge, love it! By the way, @Par4Me, avoid those bunkers by playing a safe short shot. Works for me all the time.
I played a round at Azalea Sands last month during my vacation to North Myrtle Beach and I have to say I was impressed by the beautiful landscape. Those azaleas and dogwoods add such a charm. Great course but, a heads up for newbies – those fairways can be misleading! Played a couple rounds there last season and had a wonderful, yet challenging experience.
Azalea Sands definitely is a gem. Played there last fall and the course was in great shape, especially loved the layout and the scenic beauty. Staff was very friendly as well. Anyone know how the course is faring this season? Hoping to plan a trip soon.
Visited Azalea Sands for the first time last summer and was truly impressed by the course maintenance. The club sandwiches at the snack bar are also worth trying! A bit of advice for first-timers though – keep your shots accurate or the strategically placed bunkers will give you a hard time.
